Homeless Count Doubles in North King County

The number of people on the street is up across all of King County, including the North End.   The streets of  Shoreline, Kenmore, Bothell and Woodinville were home to almost twice as many people in 2015 as in 2014.    In 2015 volunteers identified  48 people unsheltered.   This increase is in line with trends seen in our two school districts where the numbers of homeless students have doubled in recent years.
